Dark Castle rules. i got a copy of their demo in 07 when they played thee imperial shortly before it closed down. i knew it was awesome but i didn't think they would blow up like they have. Dark Castle has pretty much spent all their time since then touring and playing with metal gods. while they might not be from jacksonville....close enough.

Yep that is a picture from the infamous Orange Park show. In high school the kids that did this band were some of my best friends. Now I am 22 and i can say the only one that is still cool in my book is a person that would like to remain unknown. however, they did play deathcore before suicide silence and all those other bands popped up. if they started this band a few years later maybe they could have been on a bus eating shitty towels with winds of plauge (if you know dan you are laughing)

here is a 3 song demo they recorded at Wades house around the spring of 04. if anyone has the ep they did after this send it to me so i can upload it.

North Twenty Four

This is the first band i was ever in. We started in 2003 and played shows until 2006. it's your standard metalcore made by a bunch of 16 year olds listening to old eighteen visions too much. These 3 songs are the only things we ever recorded. i guess we were just too busy setting off the mosh!

if you have not heard this band you need to check it out. its really solid fat wreck style punk from the early 2000's. im not sure if they were all from jacksonville but close enough for me

Dorsia

my goodness look at those tiny shirts . Dorsia was a good a pretty solid band. their singer got punched really hard by woody after they played once. a lot of people remember that moment more than the good tunes they made. i remember playing with them all the time when i was in north twenty four. we all had much smaller shirts back then.

One of the most awesome bands out of Jacksonville. This download has the Nuckin Futs ep, the 2004 demo, and a demo by the original Anchors Away. Brian sings on the original demo but all of the other members are different. Im not really sure who else plays on it.
